Adrian Wojnarowski: The Clippers and Pistons have agreed on a deal to trade Blake Griffin for Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, a first-round and a second-round draft pick, league sources tell ESPN.

Woah big trade. At least that's one superstar shifting to the Eastern Conference.

Crazy trade for sure. The Clippers stay competitive with this deal also. Blake was their one star but they got deeper adding Bradley and Tobias Harris can slot in at PF or if Gallo ever plays they could maybe play together somewhat effectively.

This trade is an absolute win for Detroit. Also, I find it difficult to believe that there wasnt a better offer available than a decent [but unspectacular] starting stretch-four, a backup center who doesn't fit today's NBA, an expiring contract, and draft picks outside the lottery.

Detroit just stole a future Hall-of-Famer currently in his prime for next to nothing. Stan Van Gundy does it again.

I disagree fully. They added a solid player but an often injuries player with 5 lower body surgeries that plays below the rim now. And now he will get paid 39 mil when he is 33

Panic trade by SVG that is going to kill them for the next 5 years

The thing is... SVG doesn't have 5 years.

UNLESS the Blake Griffin signing pans out. So really, he has less to lose in this deal than the next GM of the Pistons does.

If Griffin bucks the trend and remains healthy... good for Detroit. If not... good for LAC.

I get it for SVG he is trying to save his job. But for the Pistons organization I think it is real bad. What are they now, a worse version of the pelicans with no cap space or draft picks.

I agree totally Geek, I don't see how this improves them much. I like the trade for the Clips. That 180 million contract is the reason why.
