I actually think Okogie's value on this team just went from negligible to fairly important. We desperately need his defense and his outside shooting is less of an issue since he'll mostly be sharing the floor with three of four other shooters.
While he's had stretches of being a trainwreck this season, he's actually improved over last season. Fleeting improvement? Perhaps. But his lack of an outside shot is suddenly less glaring with the new roster.

Except when he's on the floor with Culver... :)

Heh, agreed, although Culver is going to squeezed in this rotation don't you think? You've got DLO, Beasley, and Okogie all ahead of Culver in the rotation based on how he's been playing. Hell, I gotta check our new roster as I'm not sure I even know who our other players are, LOL.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Culver. He didn't fit with Wiggins and he fits better with Russell but yeah he and Okogie unless one of them improves as a shooter doesn't work. Culver working some with the 2nd unit makes some sense. I do think Okogie does have more value now. His ability as a point of attack defender is something that has value. It will be interesting to see if the Wolves end up cashing in on one of their wing player's theoretical or real value this off season.
