I thought this was a pretty good interview with Jim Peterson. He loves Rubio, but is not sure Rubio can thrive as a starting PG in today's NBA. KAT is a 5. Dieng is a back up 5. Other good stuff.

I like what he said about Dunn, which is that he's the player on our current roster mostly likely to stand up to someone on the other team or create some sort of dust-up. I really see Dunn as our Tony Allen/Patrick Beverley/Marcus Smart. He may not be a starting caliber PG, but boy, he could play an important role on this team as our defensive bulldog and general irritant off the bench.

Great podcasts. Jim Pete is about as close to someone I completely agree with on Wolves basketball.

Perhaps I'm in the minority on this Board, but I'm not a big Peterson fan. Most of the times, I prefer to listen to the other team's announcers if I have the chance.

I agree Doper. He's one of the best in the league. Very objective and fair.

I'm a Jim Pete fan, but I didn't hear any remarkable insights from him in this interview. He's at his best providing real-time comments in gamecasts. He's generally accurate and objective. And you can tell he's a good guy. But his more general analyses like he offered in this podcast are solid but nothing special.

I like this insight into Thibs and his front office team. It shows great preparation and suggests some impressive basketball insight. I'm just hoping Thibs and his front office mates do something special this summer.

Yes, hopefully their great preparation and insight told them not to take TJ Leaf!

That's a fair assessment Lip. You are right that there was nothing real deep or earth shattering here.

Weird. What drives you that far away that you have to listen to some of those other guys that don't even know who half the Wolves roster is?
