Is Wiggins a budding superstar or an overhyped chucker?

Today's line of 2 for 19 and 0 rebounds and 0 assists points to the latter. Can't remember a player so inconsistent.

Nobody puts up the stat lines he puts up and winds up a superstar.

Finally, a "Piss on Wiggins" thread. Maybe this will turn his season around, just like last year... ;-)

This team is wallowing as it tries to find itself. Who is the leader on the floor. Wiggins, Towns and LaVine all are taking turns saying "it's me". Quite frankly, Wiggins is the least qualified because of his inability to create shots for others.

Until they figure it out, we will continue to wallow.

I lean toward budding superstar...just way too much talent there. That said, these last three games have been bizarre...last night was especially a disaster. He doesn't appear to have anything wrong physically, but there must be something going on inside that head of his. He's done a complete 180 in the past week, and needs to turn it around quickly.

We have 3 scorers that can go off for 20-30 points on any given night, even 3.5 if we're willing to count G. We should concentrate on feeding the shots to whoever is hot or has a mismatch advantage. The scorers who don't have a good night should contribute in other ways: defense, rebounds, hustle, screens, charges, etc. But instead we (Thibs) have this pecking order: Wiggins#1 KAT#2 and so on. So Wiggins has bad night and we keep giving him shots and he does nothing else, zero across the board. Usually it's the job of a PG to organize things like these on offense. But our PG seems to be mentally checked out (and on defense too), though he did those things in the past.

One of the posters mentioned it earlier, none of the players got angry last night, just complacency in their effort. Hilarious. Wiggins looks asleep out there. I don't think he knows how to pass. He has that same move he does every time on the block, effective sometimes but he can't get it out of once he starts. I don't see a star in the making here.

I can't explain these last 3 games. Andrew usually bounces back from a bad game pretty well. I can't ever remember him having 3 straight clunkers like this. Something is definitely wrong, I almost hope it comes out that he has mono.

I'm going to try and remember what we were thinking about him just 1 week ago. The alternative is too painful right now.

His talent has never been the question. It's always been about his inconsistent motor.

I seriously have wondered if Wiggins struggles with depression or goes through bad mood swings. The lack of energy and emotion we all witness could be a consequence of it.
