Over and over we hear how this team sucks compared to that magical chunk of games the 2nd half of last season. The vets were mentoring and it worked. Thibs might not be better at Sam. Ok lets compare more than just the best of last year to what MIGHT be the worst of this year (we can hope).

Through 24 games last year this team was 9-15. weeks later game 51 February 3 the team wins its 15th game. Will this team be that bad? I hope not.

Two train of thoughts here... that compete a bit:

1. You can find out where a team stands when it plays teams that still have skin in the game.
2. Teams should improve as the season goes on.
