76ers just cut him. He's a career 39% 3pt shooter. I'd like to see us drop Lucas and pick him up to give us some wing depth and shooting.

It's not a season-changing move by any means, but I'd take a flyer on him. I'm not sure why Lucas is on the roster anyway unless Thibs is just grooming him to become an assistant coach.

We should sign him unless there is some issue that is not in the media for why they cut him. Seem like a good player to take a flyer on. I would rather have him then Rush at this point, but Lucas shouldn't be here.

Well, I'm here to give you the friendly reminder that players that could shoot the 3 well on other teams forget how to shoot it when they come to Minnesota.
It's a natural law in fact. I've read about it in the Bible, Koran, and - oddly - Pride and Prejudice. It might be the only thing all three great books touch upon in a similar way. So there is really no getting around it.

It makes sense.
Of course it won't happen.

I know players can be found but I think it says something that the Sixers cut him

Good organizations find uses for recycled players.

I can confirm that is a Generally Accepted rule of fact. Nope, the cavalry is not coming unless they decide to shake things up around the trade deadline. These guys need to figure it out.
