Despite the hype for Wiggins, Wolves are worse with him on the floor

I love Wiggins potential, but right now he is killing us when he is on the court. He is by far the worst starter on the team in plus minus. KAT, Dieng, Ricky, Lavine and Wiggins is how our starters have ranked in plus minus this season based on Box Score Plus Minus Stats. http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/MIN/2017.html This is not that surprising given that Wiggins is currently the worst small forward in the NBA in defensive RPM at -2.88. http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/2/sort/DRPM/position/5
When Wiggins wants to play tough defense, he can, but the problem is that he rarely focuses on playing good defense and he is not a good team defender. I wish the coaching staff would stop focusing so much energy in making Wiggins the alpha scorer (Towns is who should be our alpha guy) and I'd rather see Ricky and then Lavine (when healthy) handle the ball over Wiggins. I also agree with LST in that we are playing our starters too many minutes and perhaps Wiggins is too tired to focus on playing defense. Thibs needs to dial back the minutes until the starters can play hard and effectively on both sides of the ball.

If I think of this post humorously it is kind of funny actually

I guess the guy playing the most on a losing team will have some bad stats. Oh well. Go Wolves. Thanks for the update Ricky.

I mean it makes sense that wiggins is the lowest in plus/minus he plays 77.5% of the game and the wolves are a losing team.
Zach is not that much if at all a better playmaker than Wiggins. Average a whopping .8 assists more per game and most if not all come from gorgui pocket passes, it is rare that zach makes any plays for teammates other than pocket passes.
It is harder to run plays down the stretch for towns because someone needs to set him up for plays and if in the past teams just can double.
Ricky has had the ball for 2 eras of wolves basketball and the wolves have been a losing team for each of those eras don't you think that offense is capped or shouldn't we experiment with something else.
Karl is shooting 42% and 14% from 3 in clutch situations this year, while wiggins is 45% and 40%
Here are the SF who 10-20 in RPM iggy, covington, ingles, Gallo, Gay, George, aminu, Dudley, Carroll, sefelosha, and ross. Of those 10 players who would make us better George and I could see a argument for gallo.
I get the minutes argument but without wiggins in the lineup and Lavine out we don't have the offensive fire power to sit him with having 2 below average scoring pgs and a below average sg in rush.
Ex: Wiggins for sure has his faults, not a good help defender, he was super good to start the year and then fell back into the wiggins we don't like and he is in a uptick again (like Brooklyn_wolves mentioned in another post). He has became a very good PnR scorer and has become good at finding the open 3pt shooter but still needs to develop the pocket pass and the dump off in to the post/short corner. Wiggins is rounding into an elite scorer still has aways to go to be a all nba type player
