Wiggins 720 degree dunk. Too bad he didn't try that in the dunk contest, he would have brought down the house if he landed it.

That's sort of crazy it's almost like it's not really how he is spinning so fast.

The man has unmatched ability. It's embarrassing to have as much young talent as we do. Time for a push to "50", right LST?

This team could be really fun circa late 70s/early 80s NBA when the pace was fast and defensive schemes weren't so advanced. Folks played with a bit more flare back in those days too. When we talk about our faster pace of play in the second half of last season, its still tortoise-like compared to how the NBA once played.

What pace did those 80's Nuggets teams play at?

I think the Wiggins/DeRozan comparisons remain true...

Monster, Denver averaged 122 pts per game back in 1980.

Last season, the team with the fastest pace averaged 100 possessions per game. Back in 1980, all but three teams in the league averaged more than 100 possessions per game.

That was a ballsy effort by DeRozan. I'm not sure I've ever seen an in-game contested 360-dunk attempt.

Yeah, I've always looked at Wiggins potentially being a rich man's DeRozan.

Iconic dunks for the Olympic team have staying power. Kudos for him for trying it (in a 50 point game...).

Good stuff. I was a bit of a Nuggets fan back then we could get their games on the radio in eastern South Dakota. Listening to those games together was one of the few times my brother and I got along really well.
