Bleed is a bust

Bleed pumped up D'Angelo Russell all summer and wanted us to draft him over Karl and then trade Rubio. That would have been three horrible moves. D'Angelo is going to go down as the biggest disappointment in this draft and Karl and Ricky are going to be superstars in this league.

Pretty low ceiling for Russell IMO

The Lakers over-thought things. Should have gone with Okafor.

Randle Okafor would be a pretty sweet long term plan in the front court.

Russell won't shine until Kobe is gone. Kobe took 24 shots in 29 minutes with 1 assist. Russell looked good in the PnR which is king in this league. I think he'll be fine.

Is "fine" good enough for the #2 pick in the draft?

If he's a great PnR player he'll be more than fine. I was saying fine because I'm not worried about him moving forward. He and Randle will make a good PnR duo in the future. People lost faith in a guy like McCollum and look at him tonight. When you don't have the athletic gifts or pure size guys like Towns and Okafor have it just takes a little longer to find your footing in the league.

Maybe we should cut bleed from this board and try to sign Marcus Paulus or blazerfanatic back. What do you guys think?

Towns, Okafor, Stanley Johnson, Myles Turner, Bobby Portis all look so much better now than Russell. Mudiay, Porzingis, Hezonjia, Mickey, WCS, Vaughn, Kaminsky and Grant also could end up with better careers. I won't call Russell a bust yet, but I think I can safely say he won't be in the top 2 of this draft.

LOL! Yes, we have some bright minds on here. We need to develop an advanced metrics system to calculate a posters PER (Posting Entertainment Rate). Once we fine tune that formula, I think we'll realize Bleed is actually a pretty decent poster and we might want to move some other guys instead.
