In semi-related news, I got a chuckle out of Fox Baseball's talking head lineup. 4 guys... and it includes Pete Rose AND Alex Rodriguez.

It was an interesting article at first but it sorta ended up being a rambling whining about this and that like the old guy "get off my Lawn!" Type thing. In addition the author complains about these spots folks not giving more information but completely leaves out that TNT might hire KG because he is a first ballot HOFer often voted the best interview player during his career and generally one of the best all around basketball players and best defenders the game has ever seen. People my want to tune in to see that guy. I don't have a problem with him making the point about KG being the negative guy on the court but don't complain about people not giving full context and do the same thing. I loved his comments about Skip Bayless's show it's great he and Stephen A Smith aren't together now anymore but now there are 2 shows where they spew ridiculous takes.

Hmmmmm, where have we heard similar takes to the Post's before?

This is a Phil Mushnick piece, one of the dumbest, most racist disgusting, ignorant human beings to ever put pen to paper or finger to keyboard. Nobody in this city stands behind Mushnick's garbage and if they do, then that kinda says something about them.

He makes Donald Trump look like Princess Diana.

Thinking about it later I thought it was weird he didn't go all the way toward politics and to Trump. He really got himself going on and on about all those bad announcers (which has been happening much of my adult life) and probably figured he better wrap it up at some point. Lol

The Post is sort of a trashy tabloid-style New York daily with a conservative political bent. Unfortunately, too much media these days is either trashy or partisan (in either direction - I'm not picking sides here!). The Post is both!

The irony that this guy is trying to make an argument that KG wasn't dignified enough as a player to deserve a national gig upon retirement. Yet this guy writes for one of the more undignified publications out there!
