Stauskas Watch

I get joked on sometimes for my strong liking for Nik Stauskas and how that's the one player that I was wrong about, or so it seemed. He had a poor rookie campaign in Sacramento, no doubt about it. I'm still wondering why they drafted him knowing they had Ben McLemore ahead of him. That was the worst possible situation for him to go to.
Things have changed. Now, Stauskas is in Philly where he's going to get consistent playing time from a franchise that has no one ahead of him in their future plans. He's also playing for a good coach in Brett Brown.
Stauskas has only played two games for the Sixers so far, but both have been very decent.
vs UTA: 21 mins, 3-6 FG, 2-3 3P, 4-5 FT, 3 reb, 2 ast, 12 points
vs CLE: 29 mins, 4-10 FG, 3-9 3P, 4-4 FT, 4 reb, 1 ast, 15 points
43.8% FG / 41.7 3P% / 88.9 FT% through two games. That's the guy I liked so much two years ago. I will continue to update this from time to time as I feel obligated to do so.
I'm still confident that Stauskas has the skills to be a good player in this league. Here's his highlights from the Cleveland game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWcVKMUNmNs
