Ok, here it is. We open the season on the road against the Lakers then play on the road again against the Nuggets. Then we come back to Target Center next Monday for our home opener against the Blazers. I'm predicting a 3-0 start. What do the rest of you think?

I obviously voted 3-0, will be concerned if they don't.

I kind of need a 3-0 start to keep my 48 win prediction in good standing. For all those with predictions in the twenties, wouldn't a 3-0 start put a damper on your prediction right off the bat?

I've mulled over having a "Flip-O-Meter", where the so-called "anti-klunker" is now called a "Flipper"... :)

I think we'll beat LA and Portland and lose to Denver at Denver.

that 1-2 was me, Pork will go for 0-3 i suppose :-)

2-1. I think we are better than thse 3 teams but will lose one of the road games.

I'm with khans and doper on 2-1, and I'll be happy with that...I would be thrilled with 3-0! Like doper, I think we are better than all three teams, and like khans, I think we will lose to Denver. I don't know why I see a Denver loss, because Mudiay had as many turnovers as assists in pre-season...not a good formula for a winning team. But I think the altitude and coming down from an emotional night tomorrow night will impact us on Friday, and we will put up a real clunker. Conversely, emotions alone will carry us to victory in our first home game.

I expect this team will improve as the year goes on as Towns develops and they get used to playing for Sam (and with each other). So I think Tim is correct when he says a 3-0 start will make some of those picks in the 20's look pretty bad. At the risk of really irritating Q. maybe I'll start a new prediction thread if they go 3-0 :thumb: !

I think they split on the road and come out strong in the opener to start the season 2-1.

A win against L.A. would be very sweet though for many different reasons, the obvious one being for Flip.

I said 2-1. I think the Blazers will be beat us behind a great game by Lillard.

I am mentally prepared to go 0-3 though. To me it more about showing promise and growth then wins.
