Let's go on the record on the Wolves' playoff chances

We're 1/5 of the way through with the season, and while playoffs were a pipe dream before the season started, we are still sitting in the 6th position. I'm curious where everyone stands right now. Poll rules: you can abstain, but you can't include any "if" comments, like "if we stay healthy"...all teams face that uncertainty. This thread could prove to be very bumpable as the season progresses!

Before the season started I was not sure my 48 win prediction would get the team into the playoffs. But seeing how much weaker the West seems to be, the Wolves are a lock! (barring multiple catastrophic injuries)

Possible but not likely. However the chances are better than what I thought before the season started. I'd say 35% right now.

Our normal diversity of opinion here is in full bloom in the first three votes. One thing I think I know for sure though...all three of those votes would have been one step lower in the poll before the start of the season. #overachieving

I voted more likely than not simply based upon depth. When your bench isn't just among the best, but is the best you have a chance to win even when your starters struggle. When you have a strong bench you can win when a starter or two is out.

Depth is the reason the Wolves will make the playoffs, lack of depth of their competition is what will open the door!

You don't get it do you, sp...papalrep doesn't have to follow the rules, he gets to make the rules. Remember, he has connections the rest of us don't have!

Was this a serious question? I think that answer is painfully obvious!

I concur with this sentiment. That said - I'm very pleased with the nice start. In theory - we should continue to just get better as the young core gains experience. But I fear some adversity will eventually knock us off track as has historically been the case with this franchise. And per Poll rules - that's not an "if" but a "when" statement :-)
