NBA Finals - Jerry Zgota

Saw Jerry today at IGH Honda... sporting a Golden State Warriors hoodie of all things!

So it got me to wondering, who do T-Wolves fans want to see win the Finals? Not who you think will win, but who you WANT to win.

Most people here dislike Kevin Love. Had he been playing I imagine this would have been an easy answer for most people. Now that he isn't, there is actually incentive for me to see the Cavs win without him, proving his lack of importance to the team.

I'd like to see LeBron get it done. I root for greatness, and he is exactly that. This ring would be huge for him and for the city of Cleveland.

Plus, I hate the way Golden State plays. It's not the way basketball was meant to be played with early shotclock threes, hunting for threes in transition instead of layups, contested threes just because, etc. It's annoying to watch, for me anyways. I also think Draymond Green's a fake thug and his constant chest pumping and "motherfucker!" antics are annoying. Throw in a little Mo Speights, who I already couldn't stand from his Florida days, and we have a team I just don't like or root for.

I'm hoping that Lebron gets the opportunity to take it to Draymond. Seems like the media might be hyping him up a little too much.

I may be a little biased though. I hated the Kevin Love situation last summer, but I actually ended up putting money down on the Cavs to win it all. Then in February I decided to put a bit on the Warriors to be safe. Turns out I get to make money now no matter what, just a little bit more if the Cavs take it.

I am a Lebron fan and rooting for him, especially cause living in Chicago I constantly hear "Lebron is nothing compared to MJ" from the upset Chicago fans who've lost to Lebron in the Playoffs the last 5 years.

I'm torn on this one. Would love to see the city of Cleveland win a title, but I would hate to see Love put a ring on his finger. On the other hand, I really enjoy watching Golden State play. I guess if I had to choose I would want Golden State to win.

I'm a former Minnesotan relocated to the Bay Area. Warriors all the way!

As I said in the other playoffs thread I would love for the Cavs to win a ring and for Love to never win another, having to live with the knowledge that the ring rings hollow! Secondarily as much as I don't care for James, I do respect his desire to go home and win a championship there!

Or a Raider fan. Leave that to some other poor fellow.

I'll be cheering for the Cavs in this one, for reasons already cited by others.

First and foremost, I love the story line of the Cavs underachieving all season with Love generally in the lineup, and then playing their best ball to win the championship with him out. I couldn't have written a better script for this season.

Secondly, this would be good for the city of Cleveland. Most of the posters here were just a glimmer in their daddies' eye the last time Cleveland won a championship in any major sport (1964 NFL champions), while the Bay Area has several championships. LeBron leaving South Beach to win one for Akron is another good story line, especially with the Warriors favored to win.

I guess I'm the odd ball cheering for the Warriors. LeBron already has his. I would like to see Steph get his. I also like Steve Kerr.
