Me too. But I think Philly is going to be really happy keeping Embiid and Noel and drafting Russell...seems like the smarter move.
My hope is that we get some intel that the Lakers really covet Okafor. Flip could then perhaps swap picks with the Lakers tossing in a 2017 second rounder, and end up with Towns. That's my dream.

The top 4 worked out so perfectly that there is literally 0, yes I mean ZERO percent chance that a trade happens with us.
NYK will look to trade their pick for a vet, Philly will takes their guard, and LAL will take whichever big we don't. I cannot believe how lucky we finally got. So, so happy.

Lets just keep this simple.
Pick Towns @ 1! He fits perfectly with the team as a long athletic and defensive center. He also has he highest ceiling of the draftees. No need to over think this.

I'm with you, world. Problem is there are multiple sources suggesting Flip has Okafor #1 on his board. Zgoda has several Flip quotes in his twitter feed where Flip is saying he is undecided though. Miles to go before we sleep here, I think.
