No, I'm not giving up on winning the lottery or getting Towns. But the odds say the single most likely outcome for the #1 lottery seed is that they draft 4th, so I thought a discussion about what Flip should do in that instance is appropriate. I am assuming that the two bigs and Russell go 1-3, although I'd like to hear the thoughts of those who think that is inaccurate. I haven't made up my mind yet, but I'm interested in others' opinions.

Oh wow... This is like pick your poison. I think picking Hezonja and Johnson here would be too soon. So that left me with WCS, Mudiay, Porzingis and Winslow. I like all 4 for varying reasons, but I am inclined to go Porzingis. Though I will say I would love Winslow. He seems like the kind of player we want Muhammed to be, but might never become.

Winslow and Wiggins would have potential to be one of the best wing combos on the defensive end. Wiggins would need to put some weight on to hold his own with some of the bigger SFs first though.

I think I'd go Winslow.

I hear all this promising stuff about Mudiay. But I've only seen highlights from his last game in China.

And he threw up an airball on a free throw in that one.

I voted Mudiay because he is BPA for me out of all of those players. I look to trade him to a PG needy team and if we can't deal him at least the backup PG hole is filled with a quality option and Ricky's minutes can drop down to 30 in an attempt to keep him more healthy during the season.

I'd be pretty disappointed if the Wolves shell out $55M... then curb his minutes like Tim Duncan even though the guy is only 25 years old.

If he keeps playing 40 minutes a night he won't make it to the end of his contract because of injuries. Mudiay could very well be better than Ricky long-term so shouldn't we go that route if it is available than let everything hang on Ricky playing 38 MPG's and stay healthy for 70+ games? Ricky just isn't good enough to go all in with no viable backup plans if it doesn't pan out. You can say we should deal him in that scenario, but that would be stupid as well. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. We can have our cake and eat it too with a Ricky/Mudiay PG rotation.

So you're saying the Wolves 2nd most important player may actually be the team's biggest problem in its rebuild?

I chose Winslow ahead of Muiday because I think he's a better fit. We can't afford to have two PG's who can't shoot. A Wiggins / Winslow wing pairing gives us a couple of nice, young, two ways players to work with. Add Bazz and LeVine and we are looking good at the wing positions going forward.

Even I would be optimistic about that collection of wings...
