An interesting statistic that hopefully we don't see again any time soon:

When the Wolves decide to mail it in... nobody does it better in recent NBA history. I'm not only talking about Mark Madsen launching three pointers here. Take a look:
2010: 1 - 23 to close out the season.
2011: 0 - 15 to close out the season.
2012: 1- 13 to close out the season.
2013: Didn't tank.
2014: Didn't tank.
2015: 10 straight losses... and counting.
That's 2 - 61.
When the Wolves decide to mail it in... nobody does it better. That's crazy.

Well, at least I can say I haven't seen the players quitting. They still go out and try to win every game. Which has not been the case in some of those previous years. Management, however, is doing a fantastic job of it.

The Warriors game was good to see. The Wolves competed and the young promising guys took turns showing off what we hope will become more commonplace.
Whether it's players quitting or management doing just enough to put them behind the 8-ball, the team has been a trainwreck down the stretch in recent years. With two games left against teams battling for that last playoff spot, I'm guessing the streak will probably stretch to 12.

I sure hope the streak stretches to 12. Winning either of these last two games would be pure downside with no upside. I'm happy so long as (1) we're playing our core young guys, (2) the players continue to play hard, and (3) the coaching staff doesn't manage games with the clear intent to diminish the team's chances of winning. So far the Wolves have satisfied all three of my conditions throughout this year's end-of-season losing streak. So let's compete hard and lose these next two games. Then it's on to the draft lottery in May and let's win there. (Thank you Bobby Kennedy).

And you had no confidence in the front office Abe. They have clearly found their niche.
Speaking of the lottery, I noticed in the NY preview they said the Knicks would win the tiebreaker between the two teams. Have they already held the drawing, or is it more misinformation by a sportswriter?

Sounds like misinformation to me SJ - it's been pretty well laid out what happens if we tie.
