Because he was just waived to make room for Justin Hamilton, who was claimed off waivers from New Orleans!

we obviously have way to many young guys. There's just not enough hours in the day to develop them all

He's younger than Payne...
There's nothing about Justin that says I want him. I suspect this means we are shutting down Pek for the season.

Not that this move is earth-shattering, but considering we didn't drop GRIII all year even when we needed a PG badly... It doesn't make sense nor does it give me a feel that Flip has a plan to stick with. I add this to the Brewer, Payne, Young, Williams trades as head-scratchers.

If 2 points and 2 boards a game doesn't get your panties wet, I don't know what will

I feel like every move besides the Wiggins trade has been a head scratcher

Says he was an all-star and all defensive 1st team for D-league last year but only could manage .2 blocks for game and 2 Rebs in 12 minutes? I'm almost at a loss for words with why we dropped a guy that has potential at the very least to be a super athletic wing that has ability to shoot for a 24 y/o who is a large stretch 5 with what looks like little to no rim protection.
Edit: don't even remember ever hearing about this guy. Going off stats that says he shoots 31% from 3 unless I misread the site on my phone.

While we are pretty loaded at the wing position for both now and the long term (Shabazz and Wiggins), this wreaks on so many levels, but mainly on the level of "the Minnesota Timberwolves continue to place little to no value in drafting and developing 2nd round picks"

Hamilton has been on Wolves radar for months. Tried to get him in a trade from Miami but never could work out a deal. Needed depth at big

For those worried that this means Pek is headed for a Nother long injury absents I am told that's not the case. Wolves needed another big
