Dominated By Denver GDT [edit]

We've played a bunch of good teams pretty tough recently. Everybody should be available tonight. So, can we dominate a bad team?

Sometimes firing a head coach can be a boost to a team's play on the court. What will we see out of Denver?

What do you mean everybody? Our boi Robbie is still out!

The Nuggets beat the Bucks last night pretty handily with Faried finally showing some life and grabbing 14 boards with Ty Lawson notching a double double. I think that they were playing in spite of Shaw their apparently hated head coach. I think the Nuggets won't be much of a challenge tonight, but if Nurkic and Faried dominate the boards they could be hard to dispatch.

What I'll be watching tonight -

-Payne's performance against both Faried and Hickson. If he can hold his own and use his length I think he could have a solid night in terms of rebounding and scoring.

- Rubio vs. Lawson. Lawson usually has good games against us because he can use his speed to go right by Ricky, let's see if Ricky can stop him tonight.

- Pek's minutes. I want Flip to start limiting him to 20-25 minutes a game. I don't care if he is earning $12 million, we need to save him excessive wear and tear in an already lost season. I want to see him mix and match with different front court combos, I know the Dieng Pek combo hasn't been very good but I want to see that experiment continue.

I thought Phoenix coming off of the Dragic trade would be a fairly easy win and they took us to the brink. We're not even close to being good enough to take any game for granted. I agree with Volans that keeping Faried and Hickson off the glass would go a long ways toward ensuring a W.

I didn't realize Nurkic was out with a sprained ankle. That should help...

Denver is coming off a rare win after playing at home last night.

Also, I would like to see Wiggins take a couple 3's. He hasn't attempted one in the last 3 games!

Great start! Wiggins playing aggressively, who says he can't board?

Don't want to see him pick up that 2nd foul.

I don't know, maybe Wiggins can meter his own minutes by fouling more often! ;-)

Does anyone know how Gary Harris has been doing with the Nuggets? I really wanted him instead of LaVine but I haven't heard anything about him this season
