Mad Scientist at Work - Bucks at Wolves GDT

Sam is the Mad Scientist at work. He has created a rotation that nobody, and I mean nobody, would have dreamed of before the preseason began. But is he an F'ing Moron? Or an F'ing Genius?
After leaning the Moron way, I have moved completely to the Genius camp. The starting lineup is designed to feature our top two most promising young players. It gives Wiggins the opportunity to develop at SG where he should have an advantage on both ends of the court. They are surrounded by 3 players who know how to play. Wiggins and Towns will have opportunities to flourish on the offensive end, and be well nurtured on the defensive side. It's a great formula for developing our two most prized young players. Genius.
But our remaining young players are not being left behind. There are plenty of minutes for them off the bench, especially with limited minutes from KG and Prince, and frequent foul problems early on for Towns. But an odd twist was needed to get everyone their minutes -- Zach at backup PG (he will surely play SG minutes as well). There are concerns with Zach's ability to run an offense, but look at the players who will be on the court with Zach -- KMart, Bazz, Belly and Dieng can all create their own shots and/or shots for others. It is a unit that does not depend on a PG running the offense. Genius.
We are confident Wiggins and Towns are starters in this league. But the book is still open on Zach, Bazz and Dieng. Is Zach merely a combo guard? Or can he develop into a starting SG. I have no problem with him proving to be a competent combo guard first. Is Bazz merely an offensive spark off the bench? Or can he develop into a competent starting wing player. I have no problem with him proving it off the bench first. Is Dieng merely a backup PF/C off the bench? Or can he develop into a competent PF/C starter? I have no problem with him coming off the bench to continue showing his growth.
Mad Scientist? Yes. Moron or Genius? I am going with Genius.
Wolves will win their final tuneup tonight (or at least while their regular rotation is in). We will all be feeling good about the performance. And high hopes will abound for a 3-0 start to the season.
