lol even announcing a pending trade is against the NBA rules

That's what Windhorst said, now what will happen is the Cavs have to sweat out 30 days of other teams proposing deals all August.....I would laugh if that boosted the offers even more but it's pretty lame we have to sit through weeks more of speculation. Seriously though if Flip actually gets Wiggins Bennett and 1st round picks for Love that would be unheard of, hell I was ready to roll with Wiggins and garbage but stubborn ass Saunders has asked for the moon and it's actually likely to work.

It's just gonna "leak" to the media of a done deal. Nothing gets offical from the teams. It's how these things always work. I wouldn't worry about it

Just like how teams did it after July 1st.

At this point I wonder what there is to talk about when it comes to a Love deal. Something this big might not leak fully till the deal is done and its able to actually happen or very near when its eligible to happen. Who knows this has been the craziest offseason in any US sport I can remember. Wolves have signed Hummel so its pretty unlikely we add any FA now so I guess maybe we find out something around 4 weeks from now? Okie Dokie maybe I'll get a few projects done around the house since I have some free time. Lol

We've been led to believe it's been crazy. But has it been?

Wade stayed.
Bosh stayed.
Melo stayed.
Dirk stayed.
Lowry stayed.
Duncan stayed.
Randolph stayed.
LeBron left.
Love not traded... yet.

It's been A LOT of talk. But it's media-driven as guys try to stay relevant and build their careers.

LeBron returned home.
Morey self-destructed his team and the grand prize was Ariza.
Cuban killed the Rockets and stole Parsons. (Mavs have had a fantastic off-season)
Bosh got his max contract in Miami!
Pau linked up with Chicago.
Lakers continue to sign nobody relevant.
Pacers era as a title contender is over with the loss of Stephenson.
Nobody seemed eager to sign Isaiah Thomas (surprised me).
Golden State thinks Klay Thompson's the next Michael Jordan.
Hayward got a max contract.
Love trade speculation and rumors.

I'd say it's been crazy.

Abe you forgot probably the craziest part of the offseason (other than anytime Sterling opens his mouth lol) which was the coaching turnstile. That was more crazy than FA by far.

I think you captured this summer's NBA offseason perfectly, Cam. I'd love to close the offseason in late August with a deal that brings in Wiggins and Bennett along with the future Miami and Memphis first round picks owned by the Cavs.
