Thought it'd be interesting to see what level you rank each player
Untouchable
Rubio
LaVine
Dieng
"We'll trade you if we get equal or better value"
Brewer
GR3
Bazz
Turiaf
"If anything comes close to equal value you're gone"
Love
Pek
Martin
Budinger
Mbah a Moute
"I'd trade you for a sack of potatoes"
Barea
Shved

My thoughts may differ.
Untouchable (within reason)
- LaVine
- Dieng
- Rubio
- Robinson III (starter potential on a value contract)
Equal or better value
- Love (would be completely untouchable if there were different circumstances)
- Pekovic
- Martin
- Brewer
- Turiaf
Close to equal value
- Muhammad
- Budinger
Why are you still here?
- Barea
- Shved
- Mbah a Moute

Don't understand the love affair for GR3, he might not even make the team

I'd definitely put Love in the "close to equal value" category. I'd rather get close to his value then watch him walk after next season with NO value in return. The key for me is the "type" of value. If its several veterans on expensive long term deals, the answer is no. But if its young talent and/or picks with maybe one veteran (e.g., Jeff Green) with a couple years left on his deal, then I'm all in.

Interesting thread idea, I'll play, but I have to modify it a bit:
Untouchable (noone)
Wouldn't trade unless you blew me away
Rubio (You'd have to give me a legitimate young star in return for me to consider it)
LaVine (Would only trade him right now if we were upgrading at a major position...i.e. Love being upgraded to Durant, which won't happen)
Dieng (Total value player)
"We'll trade you if we get equal or better value"
GR3 (value around the league would be low enough that I'd like to see what he can be)
Martin (doesn't play defense, but I do think we underrate his scoring help around here)
Turiaf (wouldn't get much in trade, but very solid role player)
Pekovic (undervalued, I like Dieng but losing Pek would be a blow if we didn't get equal value)
Budinger (feel like trading him now would be selling low)
"If anything comes close to equal value you're gone"
Love (you can't get equal value for him, which is why you gamble on potential)
Shabazz (prove it)
Brewer (I like Brewer, but if we get Wiggins, we have little need for Brewer)
Barea (I'd love to trade JJ but I don't think Ricky has a legitimate backup PG if we do...Shved hasn't proven he's up to the task of a rotation player, and LaVine definitely isn't ready for the point yet)
"I'd trade you for a sack of potatoes"
Shved (horrible whole career so far with the Wolves)
Mbah (horrible last year)

May I ask why Muhammad is untouchable and LaVine is not?

LaVine is definitely untouchable in my book. Shabazz is definitely expendable for the right price.

LaVine IMO is so far away from helping us out that I can't make him an untouchable. Didn't like him at UCLA. I think his floor is Shved who's in the sack of potatoes section. By the time he's realized his potential (if he ever does), this team may look so different and not in a good way.
Whereas there's always a guy on every team where we in this forum thumb our noses at if he were here but whenever the Wolves lose to a team, there's always some unsung guy that drops 20 on us. Look up and down this team. There simply aren't enough guys that you can say "on any given night he can give you lots of offense" We as a team undervalue how important that guy can be when our starters don't come through. I remember when Jamal Crawford was a free agent and guys like Lip and Q were begging the team to stay away from him (this was when Crawford was readily available and thought about coming here). He signed with the Clippers for $24 mil while we got JJ Barea. The rest is history. Muhammad may have his flaws, but I'm sick of throwing in the towel whenever Love or Martin have an off night from the field. Muhammad can be such a major x factor for this team. He just needs the kind of opportunity other teams give their x factors.
