In addition to having a lot of really smart guys here, one of the things I have always enjoyed is the relative civility this board has displayed. There are always disagreements and that makes it more fun, but generally differences are handled in a respectful manner.

Has anyone else noticed that it seems the board has become even more civil recently? I attribute to the pleasant summer weather.

I have pretty much attributed it to this.

LOL! Good one Bleed! I agree, this board has been much more intellectual lately and a lot less "that's the dumbest opinion I've ever heard" - HA! One thing I appreciate is that I see the board self police when someone gets out of line. Guys are not afraid to jump in and tell someone when they are out of line or their posts are not up to board standards. I think that's much better than a moderator banning people.

Please don't lump me with that guy. I was here before he came along, back when the board was ultra civil. There's been very few posters who I don't have a good relationship with.

As an aside, we should have a contest to see what screen name Cam reappears as. I'm going to guess either "Trenton" or "Piscataway".

I have always enjoyed the board and for the most part feel like I can throw out an outside the box opinion and usually get some good discussion on it. I said this once before but I really Carlos and TRKO joined they were a great addition. I also have always enjoyed Lip's, LST's, Monsters, Abe's, etc posts. ( I am missing a dozen others)

Sorry for trying to be the obvious rabble rouser in this thread.

Every once and a while I will visit the "Rubes" but then always wonder why I wasted my time - no insight or meaningful discussions, just a bunch of guys trying to out snark each other. Thanks to all of you for making this such a great board.
