Do the Wolves have the best young core in the league?

Just in thinking about it...
-Warriors (some of the key pieces are young, but their bigs aren't)
-76ers young core are all pure centers
-Magic? They've got some athleticism and playmakers, and just added a good shooter on the wing..but does this really compare with the Wolves young talent?

This is all speculation at this point since this year's rookies haven't even touched the court, but there's reason to be excited about the future of this club.

Hockey, I don't even think it's close at this point. Our guys under 25 are easily the most promising group in the league. We have two potential league MVP's in Wiggins and Towns. Shabazz is going to be Shabazz which is a damn good rotational player. If Zach can keep coming, our young talent blows everyone away.

I think the bucks are close. Parker is like Wiggins but parker chiming off injury. MCW and rubio are similar players with Rubio being a little better. Vaughn and shabazz should be similar style. Lavine and the Greek freak have untapped potential. Towns are better than Henson and middleton, but the Midwest are getting some solid young basketball clubs

Don't disagree Kek, I just think there is a pretty big divide between Wiggins/Towns over anything the Bucks have.

The Jazz are close also. Heyward, Favors, Gobert, Burks, Exum, and Lyles all being 25 and under and they actually won a decent chunk of games last year. They don't have the potential super star power we do, but Heyward is an all-star caliber guy and Favors and Gobert still could be. We'll need at least a third guy to break out like Lavine to be the clear cut best in my opinion.

Even though I agree with you we don't know if parker can't be as good or even better than Wiggins and it is a given that towns becomes an all star

I guess that's what I'm saying, Parker can't be as good as Wiggins. I like Parker, but I think you are talking about guys on different tiers. Just my opinion.

Agreed Cool. Granted the bucks are in the East, but they made a huge jump last year. I see no reason why the wolves can't do it next year

The combo of Wiggins and Towns puts them a step above other rebuilding teams. Those other teams have solid pieces but not the 1-2 punch that we now have unless you think Philly's 3 headed center counts.
