Hearing the wolves have also withdrawn the qualifying offer for Robbie Hummel

Dumped for Bjelica?

Told the #Twolves are still talking to the Hummel side about a deal. Withdrawing the QO doesn't automatically mean he's gone. Maybe.

So here we are bashing Flip, when he did the wise thing of making sure he had the "right of first refusal" on Hummel, just in case the Bjelica signing didn't go through. But now that Bjelica is in the fold, he withdrew the qualifying offer on Hummel. There was no risk of Hummel accepting the offer, at least until transactions can be submitted (July 9th).

Pretty shrewd, Flip!

I have often wondered once a player decides to accept the QO, can the team back out?

That makes 14, plus LoBrown has an non-guaranteed contract, which would be 15.

14 likely to be signed, but 13 actually signed...no KG signing yet.

Yeah, I just assumed KG was a done deal, too.

Heh, it all depends on how things shake out with the rest of the roster. And Robbie isn't going anywhere until that dotted line gets signed, so I still consider him ours until it's official.

(don't be surprised if the Spurs look to pick him up. They like cheap-ish players that know how to play the game).

I've always thought that was the type of situation he belonged in. I am just not convinced that there aren't more talented guys that "know how to play the game" out there for the Spurs to choose from.
