Good! I'm sure they'd move him, but only for the right return.

To me Bazz and Dieng have been the two most marketable assets we have, meaning guys not within our first tier of core players (Rubio, LaVine, Wiggins, KAT), yet still valuable enough to actually get us something of value in return.

I don't think there is any rush to do anything, but eventually we need a younger, better version of Prince on this team: A 3 & D wing that you can put out there next to either LaVine or Wiggins that doesn't need a lot of shots but can knock down the 3 when left open and keeps the ball moving on offense. That's not Bazz.

This does not surprised me. I dont see the wolves making moves other than trading martin this season. They seem intent on building and developing the young guys they have at the moment.

I look at the wolves and I see that they have 2 tiers when it comes to their young talents. We have Wiggins, Towns, Lavine who are untouchables at the moment. Then we have Dieng, bazz, belly and jones who are the 2nd tier guys. It seems wise that to hold onto the 2nd tier guys for now as they are all in their rookie deals(mid level money for belly) and are rotation guys(except jones). They may also raise their value this season with improved play that make them more attractive in the off season like dieng has been doing.

Bazz is in the same boat as Dieng. He's a great value until his rookie deal is up and then the market will probably pay him more than we should. I would only deal him for an asset that is signed for a couple more years.

Lots of good thoughts here. Thanks for posting that article Bleed it's interesting that teams have interest in Bazz. My guess is teams are thinking why not call about him since of the young guys that have showed something on the Wolves he is getting the fewest minutes? That's all that is what would a team have to offer to get a guy like Bazz? I am a big Bazz supporter and yet I see his flaws but like Khans says might as well hold onto them for now. I doubt some team would offer up something really worth while. I think we all know Flip loved Bazz and I think he was part of this team's vision. Imagine having a team that's at least 2 deep with legit NBA talent at every position. There is potential of that with this team and Bazz is part of that.

This article seems to have some solid stats research but the idea that Bazz is a "Well rounded player" is pretty hilarious. You wonder if the writer has watched Bazz play much if NBA front offices thought as highly of Bazz as this writer we could get quite the haul for Bazz in a trade. :)

You're right Monster about the author of the article. He has the right idea in terms of 'Bazz being a decent trade target, but his description of 'Bazz is off base.

He's frankly been a bit of a disappointment this season. I thought he would build off the great strides he made last year, but he's regressed a little bit. His rebounding, 3-point shooting, and passing are all worse. Let's hope we see more of what we saw against the Clippers.

That's what I was going to write...

- "he's all of a sudden a very versatile and well-rounded forward with the ability to fill multiple roles."
- "Muhammad's versatility is kind of what makes him such a good fit."

Huh? I think Muhammad is a rotation guy in the NBA. But it's because he can bring scoring off the bench... not as a jack-of-all-trades type or as a guy who can fit multiple roles. He does one thing... and a guy can develop a career around that one skill.

To be fair, sometimes rotation guys like Muhammad end up bouncing around the league a bit.

Agreed. He's just a tough guy to ever justify starting and playing for 30+ minutes per night on a really good team, which is probably what he and his agent feel he could do. You have to be able to keep the ball moving these days. That, along with his inconsistent outside shot and defense is also problematic for a starting wing. He is definitely an energy bench scorer until he proves otherwise.

I think you listen to offers that can help the team. I would be willing to package him and Dieng for a player. I would be looking for that backup PG or PF (Portis). I would be curious what teams would be looking at him.
