At this time I think he is the right guy. I hope he can get this going in the right direction and pull an Pat Riley.

Definitely agree. I think he is capable of doing it. I bet he was itching to just push Adelman out of the door halfway through last season, but didn't out of respect or something else? I look forward to Flip calling all of the shots. 8 straight seasons he made the playoffs. A lot of first round exits, but at least we were respectable. We haven't sniffed the playoffs since we replaced Flip..

Kidding. I think we'll be fine with talent. It'll be a lot of young players, but if I recall correctly, Flip was pretty good in handling them.

KG, Mabury, Wally, Rasho

Not to mention Flip seemed to take various free agents disguarded by other teams and make them solid contributors.

Sealy, Mitchell, Billups, Hassell, Hoiberg, etc

well im not ready to give Flip credit for KG's success, Marbury I guess their relationship wasn't good enough for him to stick around past 3 years. I also didn't realize that Rasho was any good

I would give Flip and Mchale huge credit for KG. It was not as easy as just drafting him. They created the environment for him. Got rid of Laettner and Rider to pave the way.

Marbury was at his best here. He left because of ego not Flip.

Rasho was a bum that they made serviceable. The Spurs signed him as a FA and he won a championship with them as the starting center. Not all bad.

I think Flip will get the most out of Rubio, Dieng, and Shabazz. I will take a young exciting team that wins 35 games next year over watching Kevin Love and Kevin Martin go out and win 45 games and just miss the playoffs.
