Sorry guys I'm getting sick of Love (just trade him already) so I thought I'd try changing it up a bit. I'd like to know your thoughts on Evan Turner? I know there are better free agents, let's be honest those ones aren't coming here, so I think he should be near the top of our list. He's been a bit of a bust so I'm thinking we could get him relatively cheap and he would be a pretty good fit.

Last year the wolves had the least flexible roster in the league. Rubio, Martin, Love, and Pek can only play one position effectively, even our bench had limited flexibility and that really hurt us. Look at the teams in the finals, they have guys bouncing between positions all the time. Turner can play 1-3 depending on match ups. Let's just say we take Harris at 13, a Turner, Harris, Shabazz lineup would be a match up nightmare for other team's benches. So what do you think or what other options are out there that would make our roster more flexible?

I'd rather have Jodie Meeks and a backup PG (Vasquez, Blake, Livingston, Hinrich).

I like the concept, but Turner almost sunk the ship in Indiana to the point where he was unplayable in the playoffs. I think any 1 or 2 we get has to shoot 3's well and Turner can't. You just can't have guards who can't shoot and with Ricky already on the roster, we can't really afford another one.

I would argue that Alekey Shved can play up to three positions: PG, SG, and SF. Yet I would prefer he never sees the floor. Why? Because he sucks.

And while I think Evan Turner is a better player than Shved, the same reasoning applies. A mediocre player who is "flexible" just means that he can be mediocre at more than one position. No thanks.

He's just not good enough.

If you could get Turner cheap like for 3 million or less per he would be tempting but he doesn't fit here with Rubio being a poor shooter. Thats always been the problem with him sine he came into the league.

Heinrich is the type of vet leader guy this team needs, but why would he sign here?

Side question: Are teams still able to split up the mid-level under the new CBA? I can't remember.
