Derrick Rose to the Timberwolves?

This guy has a trade scenario of Rose and Moore to Minnesota for Rubio, Dieng, Bennett and Brown. Just curious as to if you guys would pull the trigger or not on a deal like this. I think its kind of an interesting scenario. Rose has been injury riddled and may not last, yet is a great player when healthy. Would you or wouldnt you do this deal?

Oh God no, someone from the national media will run with this totally speculative article and claim that Flip is shopping Rubio (even though the article is 100% hypothetical).

The headline was "Could Derrick Rose be traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves". I think he answered his own question in his second sentence, where he said it was as likely as the Cavs trading LeBron. Having gotten the answer, I felt comfortable stopping reading right there.

Hmmm. Why give up three good assets for an overpaid, chronically injured player whose game has declined in the past three years. There are better ways to spend $20 plus million a year and without giving up assets.

I wouldn't give them Ricky and Dieng for the current version of Rose. I highly doubt Rose is the best player in that deal right now.

Chicago fans way over value the current Rose. Forget about his injury history, and the fact that it likely cut 5 years off his career going forward, he just isn't that good anymore. Lavine was a more efficient scorer last season. Then think about the attitude issues, and moving him to Minny from his hometown. No thanks!

It's kinda funny if you drafted guys from 2008 for a team right now Westbrook would be the obvious #1 by a mile.

I think there's plenty of Minnesota fans that overvalue their own injured pg. It comes with the territory I suppose.
