We focus so much about Timberwolves here and we are all here for the same reason. To hear opinions against/reaffirming our own. Yet, I wonder occasionally what everyone's message board name means, and where they live.

If anyone is interested in finding out more about the people that are here posting, and finding out about life stories etc. Please post here. I'm unsure if there is a thread for this already, but sometimes those things go stale. Many of you mat know some of this via the ESPN board, bit I wasn't posting at that time.

Rubioooooo is my name because he is currently my favorite NBA player, obviously. I am a 24 year old male, and have been a wolf fan my whole life. I currently live in Hopkins, mn and am going to school to be a nurse while also working as a machine operator at an envelope company.

I know this won't be for everyone, but It would be great to hear about more of the personal side of those I talk at on a regular basis.

I like hearing where people are from, especially our members who are overseas. Plus it's good to know who might be going to road games when the Wolves are in their city...like bayouwolf in Nawlings. I'm back on the shores of Lake Calhoun (can I still call it that?) after 3 1/2 years exiled in LA...it's great to be back. I was a season ticket holder going back to the Dome days, but I gave up the rights to my seats when I moved west. Looks like I may be getting back in though, maybe for 12-15 games. I have four kids all older than Rubiooooooooo, and my screen name refers to a band I used to follow around in the late 60s/early 70's. And no, I'm not going to see their "final" concerts in Chicago next week...those days are over...

I'm from Wisconsin but I moved to Minnesota for college, of which I just graduated from with a bachelor of the arts degree. I'm 24 in July and am relatively new to basketball, I just started really following the Wolves closely since 12-13 season (lifelong Brewers and Packers fan). NBA 2K12 (a popular video game series for you geezers) turned me into a basketball junkie and since I live near the border of Wisconsin I can't watch Bucks games on League Pass so I became by default a Wolves fan. Volans is a star constellation and 19 is my favorite number (I was a big Keyshawn Johnson fan as a kid!)

My main interest in the NBA and the Wolves specifically is in roster construction and the avenues through which the roster is constructed (free agency, draft, trades) so this part of the year is when I am the happiest.

Good stuff...name is Adam and was born and raised in Brainerd, MN. Escaped weeks after high school and ventured to Arizona to be a Wildcat. Lived in Philly, Newport Beach CA and now call Portland home since my Tucson days. I still remember where I was when we drafted KG when I was in high school and am very excited for every season no matter the issues or hype. Been blessed to live in great sports cities and still love my Wolves, Twins, and Vikings...even tho I have adapted some other teams.

Thanks for the nod LST. My name is Aaron, live in New Orleans. From Rochester, went to UW Madison. Lived in DC, Jerusalem, and Virginia before marrying a Floridian who can't handle cold in any way shape or form. Life long wolves fan, will occasionally cheer for the pelicans because Davis is just so good.

New guy here. Picked my name based a running joke a Twolves fan friend and I had during Oliver Millers days with the Wolves. I live in a western suburb of Minneapolis. Been a fan since Dome days never quite sure why. Just like LST my kids are older than a couple of you.

Names Mike , was born and raised in rural Minnesota. I've been a union mason for 12 years. My board name is the same as my Boston terriers .
I've been watching the Wolves since the Pooh Richardson days but really got drawn in once KG was drafted.
Played basketball in high school for Southwest Minnesota christian. (Edgerton ,Mn )
Sothwest Christian won 4 consecutive state A titles from 98-01 and another in 2012. Go Eagles!

I have been spoiled...had a stint in Santa Barbara too. Life has been good, just looking for a solid Minnesota sports season.
