Faired, Chandler, Affalo, and the 11th pick for Love and Martin? I would take that in a hearbeat

I don't see either team doing that trade.

Any deal with denver should include gallinari coming to us. He is better than chandler, affalo and faried. Theres a reason denver dont want to include him in those rumored deals with denver. We should nit even consider dealing with thrm if gallo is not part of it

Does Denver jump up on anyone's list in terms of a trade for Love? They could send back Harris, Nurkic and give us some combination of Gallo/Faried/Chandler for salary. Maybe you could flip Faried and JJ to the Kings for McLemore and Jason Thompson since they took Stauskas and Faried is going to be overpaid here when his contract is up shortly (I think someone will give him 10 million a year)?

The Denver trade is awful. It makes the Wolves a treadmill team that caps out MAX at 35 wins. Gallo and Chandler have never truly pieced it together, and while Faried has nice athleticism, you can't surround Rubio with guys who can't shoot or create their own shot.

Except Gallo and Chandler can both shoot and I would send Faried somewhere else. Harris can also shoot and Nurkic is a quality Euro-stash. If you could snake McLemore from Sacramento, that gives you Lavine, Harris and McLemore on the perimeter shooting around Ricky. That takes us from no shooting to tons of shooting. You can't call a team full of rookies and second year guys a treadmill team because they're either going to be bad and get more good picks or some of them become something worth while and you win more than 35 games.

Flip took a homerun approach with LaVine. I feel like he'll take a homerun approach and keep Love. Flip's got big nuts.

Trading Faried for McLemore in your scenario makes ZERO sense.

Why? Faried is a horrible fit next to Pek and McLemore is another young player who may or may not turn into something. I assume Martin is going wherever Love is going, so that leaves a hole in the backcourt. A Harris/McLemore 2 guard rotation makes plenty sense. There are going to be other ways to fill the PF spot than an overrated guy who rebounds, plays no D, is limited offensively and is about to get paid because he is flashy. We can get that for the MLE so why not get another young guy with potential to be something better?
