It's going to be painful for Wolves fans to watch the Warriors going forward.

The Warriors are 35-32 and headed for the play-in tournament even though they've been without their second-best player and all-star, Klay Thompson. Wiggins is having arguably the best season of his career, shooting 38% from behind the arc and 47.3% from the field while also playing much better defensively. But it only get better for the Warriors from here as Klay returns next season. Meanwhile, Wiseman will return healthy next season. He's bound to improve and, while some have prematurely declared him a bust, he still has the potential to be great. The Warriors will also have their own 2021 first-round pick, which will likely be in the top 20. Then to top it all off, the Warriors will likely have the Wolves 2021 1st round pick, probably in the 4-7 range.

As for the Wolves? We're looking at a bottom 6 finish this season and no draft picks. Meanwhile, DLO remains an enigmatic player who continues to show little interest in defense, but who also continues to tantalize and show promise with his big shot-making ability and passing.

So watching the Warriors will be painful for Wolves fans - unless DLO stays healthy and really ramps up his play to become a consistent all-star caliber PG who defends and makes the team significantly better when he's on the floor. Or maybe Bolmaro will be the next Manu and make us forget about our 1st round pick, DLO, Culver and all the other negatives.

The Warriors core is getting old, Klay cannot stay healthy, Green is already a shell of his former self, and Curry is no defensive guru himself. Yes Wiggins is having his best season, but as the core continues to age out and Wiggins is counted on more and more he'll still come up short when it matters most. He plays his best ball in the first half, and tends to be invisible late, so who cares really. As for Wiseman, yep, he has potential, doesn't mean he'll ever reach it even if he's playing for the Warriors.

None of the Warriors young players are the center piece to a championship team. Ant has shown the ability to be exactly that! If both Ant and Wiseman both maximize their potential it'll be a hell of a lot easier for the Wolves to build around Ant than it will for GS to build around Wiseman. Wiggins doesn't even deserve to be mentioned here, he could be the center piece to a great team, but he never will be, he just doesn't care enough. If Wiggins had Ant's heart he'd be a future HOF'er, he doesn't, and he'll never be a key piece to get a team over the top.

So long as Ant, McDaniels, and KAT continue to grow and win games together we'll have plenty to be excited for the next couple years. GS possibly has a couple years left before their window slams shut, and Klay has to come back and be the same player, Curry has to continue to be Curry, and then they need all that potential to be realized for that to happen. IMO they'll be a contender if all that happens, but I'd bet against them ever winning another championship with their current core.

One last point, GS has only been a free agent destination because their core was championship caliber. They're not the Lakers, top players are not going to flock to GS without the belief that a ring awaits them there. Short of more lottery luck GS will be starting over again in the near future.

The Warriors have won 15 more games than the Wolves and they have a 2 time MVP no brainer HOF and best shooter of all time in Curry.They are also waaaaaay over the luxury tax and gave up some decent assets (and a lot of tax money) to have one year (maybe they resign him) of poorman's Wiggins, Kelly Oubre. They have a good coach and system in place and have for years. Watching them having some decent success doesn't really pain me.

Why on Earth would it going to be tough for us to watch an aging core who only made the play in game? Wiseman has showed literally nothing this season, we dodged a bullet not drafting him.

I think the Warriors dynasty is long gone now. Green is done. Klay had another season ending injury and had years off. Steph is only going to get older. Wiseman looked like a bust and is injured. Wiggins is not a needle mover and makes max money.

I honestly think once Klay got hurt again their chances to contend were over for the short term. Who cares if they make the playoffs. If somehow Wiggins turned into max Wiggins night in and out I would have been pissed, but I don't care now that he has proven to be who he really is. He was never going to be even playing as good as he is now as a Wolf so the comparison is not even worthy. He needed and change of scenery.

It's easy to be savvy when you have a championship core. It's questionable if they still do, and even if you think they do it's only for another season or two.

The fact that the Warriors have won 15 more games than the Wolves isn't trivial and they did that with Curry missing a number of games and Klay missing the entire season.

Wiseman may have been a disappointment this season as a rookie, but he still has all-star caliber talent. And they'll likely have two 1st round picks this year - one of them top 6 pick that we gave them.

Was it their savvy or Khans idiocy? Don't forget Khan drafted two PG's in front of Curry. Do they even win one chip without him? Klay was also an 11th overall pick, again the Wolves passed on him as well but so did 9 other teams who drafted worse. Kyrie was a solid 1 pick. Kawhi should have went to the Wolves in hindsight at 2 or if Kawhi went 1 we get Kyrie, 3 should have been Klay. 4 Jimmy Butler and 5 Kemba Walker.

So maybe some luck and other teams idiocy was involved as well.
