I thought I'd start a thread for some discussion about Chris Finch. I just finished watching his post-game presser following the win over the Warriors tonight. It was illuminating to hear his answer to the question about how well the Wolves are rebounding on the offensive glass. He said, "we have a lot of length and we're using it." So yes, we have a head coach who rediscovered a fundamental truth in basketball - LENGTH MATTERS. We have length and Finch is using it. KAT, Naz, Vando, McDaniels and even Juancho. We also have a couple physically strong wings with long arms in Okogie and Edwards. I love skill, athleticism quickness and finesse. But success in the NBA requires length, size and strength. The Wolves now have a head coach who understands that fundamental tenet.

Like I have said before in my limited watching of games he seems more willing to look for ways to get advantages. That's what seemed weird to me about the way the team was coached before. The Wolves actually had a collection of guys that could play a bunch of positions but it felt like sometimes they were making it harder for themselves. I was just looking at the stats the other day and thinking to myself...should Naz Reid be playing even more than he is?
