Jon K: Third year is a team option, sources tell @TheAthleticMIN.

I can live with that, I guess.

So 2 years $14 mil pretty much.

At least these are team options and not player options.

Roster is set minus one extra two-way guy

Dane Moore says we're between 3.5 - 4.5 below luxury threshold. 15 roster spots accounted for. JMac will make more than that one would think?

Can Kelan Martin be signed to another two way, or is that a one time thing?

Yes he can be resigned as a 2-way.

So assuming they ramp up the contract I would assume the first 2 years are something more like 13 million which considering the team option on the 3rd year...eh it's not terrible especially with how the FA spending has been which has surprised me. I would say for guys that get actual money contracts they have been getting at least a million more a year than I was expecting so...as the driver of the Juancho golf cart I'm ok with it. There is still some money to spend on resigning McLaughlin and if they find someone that wants Spellman they may have money to sign a guy to a 3-4 million cheap deal. Still crossing my fingers for RHJ but I'll be happy And wildly relieved when McLaughlin is brought back.

Cool! Team options can be very valuable as a trade chip, too. And the added 3-point shooting is good.

And plenty of money to add one or two players. A guy like Evans can simply be waived.
