It's almost like a new season now. I'm thinking about how things could work going forward. A couple thoughts.

When Wiggins is back healthy Covington as a floor spacer that doesn't need touches should give Wiggins space and an outlet when he drives. It's not the perfect situation for Wiggins but it's better.

Teague either starting or off the bench his scoring and playmaking has more value. Same with Rose.

How will Thibs utilize Saric? Does he get legit minutes or is he relegated to just a bench Belly type role? I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

What type of team does this look like? Hey have been playing faster and taking more 3's. Covington and Saric could add even more 3 point shooting and these guys were on a team that plays the type of modern offense most have been looking at playing.

Yeah, I think we're all relieved the drama is over, and curious to see how this plays out. Covington and Saric were 2nd and 5th in MPG this season for a much better team than the Wolves, so it will be classic Thibs if he doesn't give them the 30+ they were getting in Philly. The next 10 games are not very difficult, so it would be nice to win 6 or more of them and start building some respectability.

I think Saric is a great potential compliment to KAT. He's a good passer, nice length, he fights. Thibs better fucking play him.

All theory until Thibs is gone. We now have two wings who can't create their own shot. At least Covington is a pretty reliable 3-point shooter. But I don't see enough space for Wiggins to drive without getting stripped -- not as long as Thibodeau is head coach.

This is a team where Rubio would look great with. I think Teague is miscast now with these guys.

I'm with you Cam, plus it's not like Taj has been lighting it up defensively in the front court this year. Saric gives us a nice contrast at the least.

I'll admit I haven't watched Saric much, but if you read analysis about him you will see most think he struggles on defense because of his lack of athleticism. He especially struggles in PnR situations because he is too slow to stay with quicker perimeter players. That said, he was a very popular player in Philly, a great shooter and passer, and in the opinion of some, their 3rd best player. I think he can help us unless Thibs works his negative magic on him.
