Justin Patton Traded to Philly

We traded Justin Patton, 2020 second-round pick, some other guy to the Sixers for forwards Robert Covington and Dario Saric, and guard Jerryd Bayless.
I never thought we would get anything for Justin Patton.

I just learned more. Jimmy Butler was in the trade and he is the pawn that got us the pick.

We got more out of pretty much any first rounder we've ever had than we did out of Patton. Incredible.

That was the filler...gotta make sure salaries match. He could get stretched....

Yeah, maybe after couple of years Abe can write as interesting tidbit how Patton leads the league in minutes.

Well I am going to have to look at the schedule for Patton's return to Target Center. I am sure it will be a sell-out and the video montage of highlights will be an amazing 30 minutes pure shock and awe.

Bring your kleenex! I hear the state of Iowa is contemplating a Justin Patton Day. I hope it happens, as he has meant a lot to that state with his inspirational story and all the work with the cat shelters.
