Should the Wolves tank?

Horrible start, Jimmy is gone soon or after the season. Same with Thibs. Wouldn't the wise move to tank the season?
Wolves fan commiserate here!

Tell season ticket holders and casual fans that go to the arena that they MUST watch losing basketball unless the team can contend for a title.
One thing we've talked a lot about around here is the losing culture and mentality of this franchise. I believe our past tanking has to some extent bolstered that culture. Just look at KAT and Wiggins, two blue chip prospects that came into a losing culture and just keep on losing unless a functioning Jimmy Butler comes save the day.
So no, we need to keep competing hard and trying to win games. I see zero upside to losing games as we have proven time and again that lottery picks rarely solve our problems.

Is it the players or the coaching and front office? Had the Wolves drafted Steph Curry instead would we not be in a better situation? Or Giannis? Or Mitchell? Or not hired Thibs?
I do think that unless you foresee a path to a Championship, tanking is probably the best choice. Yes it sucks for fans and current players, But really, do you only care about sneaking into the 8th seed so you can get swept in 4?
This team has little to no chance to make the playoffs. I see no reason why we should hope for more ping pong balls, play the young guys, save the vets legs.
In the end, this team doesn't even need to try to tank, they will be by themselves.

So we were told that for years... actually decades... that the only solution was to tank and load up on #1 picks.
Ok.
So now after our reward for all that time was one season... we're being told that the plan didn't work...
... so we're trying it again.
