This year it`s Towns`s team, can he take us to the playoffs?
In my opinion everything depend on our defense next year.
What is the best defessive lineup of the Wolves next season?

You absolutely hit the nail on the head, yet it seems like Saunders and Rosas are far more concerned about playing style and aesthetics than defense. That's not to say they are wrong in modernizing their offensive approach, but it really won't affect Ws and Ls much if the defense doesn't improve.
Believe it or not, ever since KAT put on a Wolves jersey, this team has never been worse than the #12 rated offense in the league. The bottom line is if we just play average defense, we have a shot at winning 40+ games. Yet all the focus seems to go toward our 3-point shooting, inability to find wings with good handles, Wiggins' inefficiency, etc., etc. Again, these are all legitimate points. But by far the #1 thing that will help us win more games is driving down opponent eFG%. Yet no one seems to talk about that much.

Having not seeing hardly any of the new guys, I'm kind of flying blind on your question regarding the best defensive lineup.
I guess on paper, my opinion is KAT/Vonleh/Covington/Okogie/Culver, with Culver running PG on offense.

I agree. That's probably our best defensive lineup. Actually, I think that lineup could be elite on the defensive end. My one caution is whether Culver can stay in front of the quick PGs in the League. We don't know that yet. But he can use his superior length against those PGs. It's hard for this team to be good defensively with Teague at PG. He's such a defensive liability. So Culver's ability to play (and defend) the PG position will be critical over the long haul.

I would put Jordan Bell out there instead of Vonleh.

Q and Lip I agree it seem to be our our best defensive lineup on the paper, but i can`t see Okogie get minutes after November. It will be a problem to play 4 on 5 on offense with our fast new style so I thought maybe Wiggins or Layman will fit better as our best deffenssive lineup.
KG - Bell or Vonleh is a good question. In the begining I thought Bell will play better with Towns on the deffenssive end, but I`m not sure anymore.

Towns is definitely getting some national media attention on his prospects for this season. I think last year was definitely a disappointment for him getting another bump offensively, even though he has been an offensive savant statistically throughout his career. If his usage goes up even more (like top 10 in the league) it will be interesting to see how that affects our offense. I think that it is correct to point out that team defense is the key, but if Towns really becomes near the top of the league in gross offensive stats as a result of this new proposed system approach I have some confidence that there is another level he can pull this team up to.

I'd like to see more of Jordan Bell -- because I think he has serious defensive potential albeit in a limited role -- but if I had to give you my five man defensive lineup today it'd be:
Culver
Okogie
Graham
Covington
Towns

I think against some quick PGs I might have Napier out there.
