Wolves vs. Heat GDT

Maybe I'm a little late with tonight's GDT, but not as late as the rest of you!

I didn't get to watch the game, but somebody pinch me! WTH has gotten into Rubio? He's never had a hot streak of games anything like he's currently on. As with Wiggins when he's having one of those out of the world months I'm always waiting for seemingly inevitable fall back to Earth, but with Rubio it rarely takes more than a couple good games before gravity ultimately wins. He needs to stop this shit immediately, teasing us like this just isn't fair.

I watched the first half. They looked terrible. Dieng is my guy, but he laid an egg last night. Miami was in control the whole time I watched and it was never really close. Miami was scoring at will and Wolves went 2 of 12 on three pointers. I can friggin' make more than two out of 12. Friggin' Brandon Rush is a wasted roster spot too IMO. He's done absolutely nothing. It was a bad game to watch, so you didnt miss anything.

What an amazing job Spo and Riley have done reconstructing that roster in two years. They did it without trading any of the big 3, actually maybe they got a late first or something like that in the sign and trade with Lebron, I could be mistaken on that. Drafting and developing players, and finding cast offs and developing them to their style.
They have multiple guys who can handle the ball and make plays, positionless basketball, they way the league is trending. No substitute for a good coach and smart front office.

They did trade two first round picks for Dragic and they've been on the borderline of the playoffs rather than a constant top 4 seed but they've recovered from losing Lebron decently.

That's right, forgot to mention the Dragic trade. My point was they didn't get the fortune of accumulating a bunch of draft picks for Wade, Lebron and Bosh and somehow have molded a decent roster.

Eh in the long run it is probably bad. They don't have their pick next year and by the time they can contend for a title dragic will be old.

Nice season for the roster they have bit not title contenders

Huh? people washing Miami's balls? The team is struggling to make PO in eastern conference. It reminds of Suns with Dragic a few seasons ago. They were that cinderella overachieving team. And look at them now. Still not good. All the main guys in Miami aren't that young, the younger one are low ceiling. Unless they hit jackpot in FA they are still mid table team. But they probably blow the cash on Waiters and JJ.

I'm not surprised Brooklyn would take it that way. I don't think I hinted they were close to a title, but they've found a way do something we haven't done in 12-14 years and that's compete without the assistance of top 5 lottery picks. Johnson, Richardson, Whiteside, pretty good players. And and then add in they've been able to sign cheap vets and get production out of them, i.e. waiters and Johnson is something we've been unable to do.

The fact they've gotten production out of Waiters is a minor miracle in my opinion.

Someone just glowingly used words like "amazing job" and talked about a reconstructed roster. I bet Riley is pissed that Spo pulled that stunt. Riles was ready to tank and now he probably feels the pressure to keep this roster. And he's not a dumbass and knows this roster is full's gold and will have to be disbanded after a few years of mediocrity.

Haha. Seems like a lot of conjecture on your part knowing the mindset of Riley, despite most of the evidence doesn't necessarily support your claim. I don't know, if I was going to tank I wouldn't of matched the offer for Johnson, or I would of dealt Dragic before the deadline, or traded away Whiteside. Dumbass
