Shabazz Muhammad should be even more upset now.

TJ Warren signed for $50M.

Granted, I think he has more to offer than Muhammad... but not $46.8M more...

In an ironic twist, in his quest to "get his" (money)... Muhammad will probably have to focus less about "getting his" (points) on the court.

Good comparison Abe.

Bazz said himself on media day he turned down higher offers in FA earlier in the process. Glen Taylor said the Wolves made him an offer before FA started. At this point Bazz probably should be thrilled Warren got that deal because he can tell the Wolves that about what his market is in a few months...and like you said if he actually offers something more than just getting buckets he could prove more value than Warren has shown now. Plus...Bazz has shown more as a 3 point shooter both in percentage and volume up to this point and gets to the line at a bit higher rate. All I am saying is I think you nailed it with this comparison.

I think you alluded to it but Warren might be overpaid with this deal. Who was going to offer him that when he was a RFA next year? The wing market could be flooded with true 2 way wings next year. It's not a bad contract and he does still have some upside but I wouldn't want to pay him that much at this point and trading a guy making that kind of money if he isn't a starter may be problematic.

Maybe this was the biggest tampering conspiracy yet. To get Shabbaz to wait until we actually need his Bird Rights. Genius.

Whoa, how many years did he sign for? I really don't get some of these deals getting signed at this point. Nobody else is going to pay these guys this year, and next year the market is going to be saturated with players and nobody's going to have cap space so you'll be able to sign guys much cheaper. Plumlee's another example.

The Suns are way under the cap, right? But they're not interested in being good anytime soon. Look what they did with Bledsoe last year. Maybe they just figured they had to spend a certain amount of money, and that they might as well throw it as a guy who can give them instant offense even if it's not much else? I don't get it.
