On the Lowe post today. Lowe stated that internally Kat and the front office are at odds. Lowe thinks something something crazy will happen with the wolves this summer. Whinhorst says he could see KAT being traded this summer

I would definitely be in favor of that. KAT is clearly holding Thibodeau back from reaching his full potential as head coach.

Depends on what they are at odds over for me. KAT frankly hasn't earned the right to be a diva for me. He's a major reason we have had trash defenses since he got here. I'm not automatically on Thibs side on this one, but given the playoff performance KAT had I'm leaning more towards Thibs side until we get more information. A diva big who doesn't play defense well isn't gonna take us to the level we want.

Yeah Thibs probably told him he's not the best Center in the NBA.

On this you just do not trade him. Even if he's upset. Make him tough it out and expose him. He's got to play better somehow, but it is troublesome to hear that our greatest talent is unhappy.

I just listened to the podcast. The source quoted about unrest was Doogie. Can we just close this thread?

Hahahaha...he's so fucking worthless on these scoops. Seriously how does he have anybody left who uses him as a source?

There's no evidence that KAT's a diva. He might not like playing for a head coach who exudes negativity every second of every game -- constantly screaming and dictating every play on every possession. If he's grown weary of playing for a head coach like that, then it's understandable. And as our most talented player as well as our most productive player he not only has a right but an obligation to speak out internally. Note that he hasn't gone public like a diva. Unlike Butler, KAT plays every single game. And unlike Butler, KAT has a lot more upside left. He's a double-double machine who improved his defense the second half of the season. He's the player voted by GMs last fall as their top pick to build a franchise around.
If there's a diva in the organization, it's Thibodeau. And he needs to go!

Ya, I am really hard on KAT on this board (mostly because I think he has the talent to be an all time great so my expectations are more.), and at times I think he likes to stat hunt, and whines to much in games (even though gets hammered a lot). But he plays his ass off and he is the future face of the franchise and he deserves to have his voice heard within the organization. That is not babying him that is what good organizations do. It the little things like firing his personal coach without telling him. I am guessing you could of talked to him about it and explained why you were doing it and I am guessing KAT would understand that. Its the little things that add up and from the top down of the Wolves organization it has to get better.

Kat said after the Butler trade "i could have gotten them thete". Butler will end up back in Chicago. That trade will go down as the most incompetent since the Herschel trade. Watch the Bulls win with Zach and Markinen. Ricky is gone. The coach is an a hole who does not listen. Kat will play out his contract and leave. So would you. Really what recommends this franchise?
