Ah, remember when many on this board wanted to sign Patrick Patterson for $10MM+ in the offseason?

2.4PPG and a 5.98 PER. That would have been a solid investment.

Sorry, just reminiscing. It shows you pay stars a ton and moderate roll players very little.

I think Patterson signed for around $5M with OKC....

Taj is at a career high in minutes and leads the team in net rating. He has been better than expected for sure. But signing him to that contract also prevented us from making other moves that may have bolstered our bench. For now, it appears the good outweighs the tradeoffs we made to get him. But there is a long ways to go still.
