CoolBreeze's 2 Things I Didn't Like Tonight Plus 1

Wow, I wish I had a ticket like some of you did. Largest crowd to ever see a Wolves game at TC. I hope this a preview of things to come for this franchise. One thing is for certain, our Wolves are getting better and tonights win is more proof of that. Here is the "It's been too long" version of the 2 + 1:
1) Wig plays a poor first half, and Towns plays a terrible 2nd half. Just how did we win this game? And then both guys combine to miss 4 straight free throws at crunch time. If our stars had played full games this one probably wouldn't have been as close as it was.
2) Golden State had a 13-0 run in the 4th quarter. You expect a great team to make a run, but we need to find a way to stop the bleeding before it gets that bad. I know it's part of being a young team and part of the maturation process, but still we found a way to make it harder on ourselves than we should have.
Plus 1 - Ricky Rubio was the real "Warrior" tonight. He played so hard and his leadership was simply outstanding. We don't have a chance to win that game if Ricky was playing for the Knicks. I can't be more emphatic about how important he was. Very happy he's still a Wolve, and impressed with the way he is playing since the trade deadline.
Special mentions:
- lt wasn't always pretty but you have to hand it to Andrew in the clutch again. His ability to get to the tin and to the line helped win the game. He also had an outstanding 3rd quarter and made big baskets throughout the 2nd half.
- Dunn and Tyus didn't play a lot, but they gave us just enough to allow Ricky to get his rest and not lose ground when he was out. It's cool having a guy like Dunn who you can put on Klay or Steph and know he's going to hold his own.
- Bazz played within himself and chipped in when he was given the chance. I love that he wants to stay with this team. I hope we reciprocate.
- Let's give it up to Thibs. He's got this team believing in themselves. We weren't great tonight, but somehow we beat the top team in the conference. Thibs has to get a lot of credit for the turnaround.
