When the Wolves went out and nabbed Cassell and Sprewell, I didn't think about the long-term ramifications of a move to land two mercurial veteran players on limited deals.

But I enjoyed the best season in Wolves history (by far!) anyway.

I understand the angst about the Wolves future. Personally, I didn't see LaVine part of that, so I'm ok to see him not part of it. Same with Dunn. As long as the Wolves win FINALLY...

... and keep two of the league's most promising players? Sign me up.

Im with you 100% Abe. In a sport with small teams so much can change quickly. We went for it which is always the play in the NBA. Go for it when you can. I'm pretty sure the nature of the conversation around here is going to change when everyone sees what these signings bring on the floor. Then we can get back to what really matters...criticizing Wiggins motor!!

Abe, I'd share your optimism if every other team in the West didn't just get a shit ton better too (Ok, Utah and the Clippers took a hit, but they are still very good teams).

It did! How could you guess?!? Every year I guess I was "lucky" to have the needle jump every once in awhile to The second and third tracks, Rain Song and Over the Hills and Far Away.
