I like what I see in Wiggins so far. He looks very confident driving and shooting 3s. AB has been in foul trouble.

Canada had some nice plays drawn up involving Bennett cuts that I think we could easily pull off with our personnel. Nocioni is nothing special defensively, but he's been around long enough to think like your average NBA defender and he got beat pretty easy a couple times. I like the prospect of running some of their cut plays with Ricky and Towns finding Bennett. He's a strong finisher on the move. They're some nice quick bucket plays that if you space them out enough the defense just doesn't recognize it in time to do anything about it.

Wiggins and AB were fine, but Scola looked like a man among boys.

I do see some hope with AB, but I do remind myself that the competition level isn't NBA level. He has good moves to the basket, rebounds well and shows some improvement in 3 pt shooting and trying to block shots.

I only saw the first 7 minutes, but Scola air balled his first two shots badly.

Scola took Olynyk to the woodshed from what I saw. I don't remember if AB had the chance to guard him much.

If Wiggins is going to be a great NBA player he should dominate in a tournament like this with a full NBA season under his belt. Or at least dominate one or two games. Imagine what Kevin Durant would have done in a tournament like this after his first NBA season. Or imagine others like Russell Westbrook, MJ, Allen Iverson or Kevin Garnett.

In Wiggins' defense, the Canadian team somewhat went away from him on offense towards the end of the game. Made no sense, but I'm not the coach.

Sometimes he's too content to defer to his teammates. It's the one thing about him I don't like.
