My favorite report on Durant's free agency was the report that Nike has no preference on where he ends up. Nike indicated that their only preference is that he win.

Just more evidence that where you play has no bearing on the money you make in today's NBA.

Wouldn't it be a bad PR move for NIKE to acknowledge the amount of influence it has on players, or its preference in where athletes should play? After all, the company wants to sell shoes in Washington. Miami. OKC. Golden State. Et al...
