Yeah, that sucks. While Rush may get the start, it's probably Bazz that will benefit with a nice bump in minutes...

This sucks, bad, but this season at least it might work in our favor. More Bazz, Rush, and even Dunn at the 2 might not be a bad thing. We'll see.

Well that's one way to stay in the lottery. Awful news, but you come to expect it in this state.

Slight difference between a contusion and a torn ACL.

I'm not gonna blame Thibs for the ACL injury. That can happen at any time.

BUT,

I can blame Thibs for Zach being out there, playing hurt with his bad hip and not playing well yet running him out there for 35+ minutes a night. I remember when Zach came back from the injury and instead of easing him back in while Rush gave us the only 2 good games he's played, Zach plays most of the game while Rush played 3 minutes.

This sucks for Zach and the team and while I was never a fan of acquiring him or even him as a part of the core moving forward, it hurts the team big time. There could be more devastating injuries for this team, but now this is really gonna show what kind of piss poor job Thibodeau did of assembling depth on this bench. The Warriors can still scour the waiver wire for guys. The Cavs are holding open workouts. Meanwhile after Pek medically retires, we're gonna have 2 open spots + Payne, Rush, Jones, Hill and Aldrich who don't play and no sign of this team trying to add better players to fix the glaring holes on this team.

Now Thibs and Layden need to figure out how to add some guys on this team that can play. Otherwise, it's gonna get really depressing watching this team work twice as hard to lose twice as badly.

It sucks that he's out, but we played ok when he was out before. It's not like we just lost KAT. I wouldn't say the year is over because he is out.

Zach has zero effect on us staying in the lottery. It only sucks for Zach. The team will be fine. I bet we play better defense and our PO chances go up. We may even see Tyus running point with Dunn moving over to backup SG. Who knows with Thibs though.
