Harvin hurt again

and might need surgery. I'm not surprised... the way he plays the game, he's going to be hurt often. He seeks contact...never go out of bounds when you can hit someone instead.
I have a lot of respect and admiration for Percy as a football player, but I'm convinced we are better off with him gone. His pattern of injuries combined with his mercurial personality made him a liability on the team. Jennings and Patterson will contribute more than Harvin would have. As great as Percy was the first half of the last year, the team really started to jell after he was out for the season.

I hate having him gone, but what we got potential wise in return was well worth imo.

It also helped that AP ran for 1,600 yards in the last 10 games. In other words, he rushed for as many yards in 10 games as the second leading NFL rusher last season did in 16 games. Ridiculous.

It was time for Percy to go. I just laughed when i saw this because of all the Seahawk fans were crowing about how he was a steal. He will always be injury prone because of how he plays. Definetly not worth what they gave him because of that factor.

Last season AP's yac was good enough for iirc 19th best in the league or something crazy like that and that was just his YAC lol.

He is so good, but always injured. His body is made of glass. Shame. I have to say I hate that we dumped him, but it was close to a necessity.

Looks like a 3-4 month surgery time frame. That means perhaps week 10-12 for the Seahawks to see him back. For that money, Vikings are looking smarter then ever. To really rub it in, I hope that Patterson is a stud and is in contention for Rookie offensive player of the year.

And the Vikes replaced him with signing Jennings. MIN looks smart all around on this one. They traded Harvin for a big haul, then covered their ass by signing a big time WR in Jennings while drafting one with huge potential. Very very nice.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I'm a Viking fan, and I was bitter about how he jacked the team around last year. And even though he was always popular with his teammates, I thought it was classless that he wasn't with the team during their winning streak at the end of the year. Told me a lot about his lack of character and made it easier for me to accept his leaving and even to feel some misplaced joy when I heard he was injured.
But he is a unique talent and never cheated the fans when he was on the field, and it's a shame that injuries don't allow him to be the player he could be. I still hold a little resentment toward him, but I have some empathy also.
