Darren Wolfson on Twitter: ""Milt is running the Draft and free agency." -- #Twolves owner Glen Taylor. He's on with friend Chad Hartman now."
[note: this makes me think mitchell is staying, too.]

Yep Wolfson tweetedwhat I quote below. I'll have to listen the spot with Glen later.
"Taylor also with Chad said the Kaplan situation is probably dead. Said it looks like it'll take years to settle his Mem. situation. #twolves"

Well here you go
Picking up on Taylor's WCCO interview: Wolves owner tells AP he is keeping GM Milt Newton thru FA and draft to fully evaluate him

That sound you're hearing is the sound of almost all of the hope and goodwill this team has earned with their late season play being sucked out of the fan base.

Basically, instead of being active in looking for more-proven or better GM's, Taylor would rather sit back and hope Newton doesn't fuck up.

More importantly, this likely rules out any chance of Thibs coming to Minnesota, which really sucks. Would have been a great fit for both.

Milt may well be up to the job, he may have learned a great deal over the years and is ready to become the PBO of a championship caliber base, the problem is I have zero faith in Glenn's ability to make that assessment.

Also, you don't evaluate the moves made during the draft and free agency and fire someone right after if they're terrible. Taylor pretty much ensured that Newton will be here for a while to see how his moves play out.

Don't even know what to say. I have no reason to dislike Milt, so there is that. Wonder if he would even consider, or even have the power to fire Sam.
