Man, I don't know if he will be a great pro....but he is one of the best college players I have seen in years. Guy is flat out a joy to watch, and seems like a good dude. I hope he succeeds at the next level, but either way, he has been a treat to watch this season.

I know hes a senior, but even Curry never shot as well as Buddy has this year in college. Also, I have to think OKlahoma's competition is a bit better than Davidson. If Ingram and Simmons are off the board, he'd be hard to turn down unless Bender has a Porzingis like workout. He'd instantly make us a very good three point shooting team. I love how quickly he can release his shot and if he has any daylight, he's money. I'd imagine he'd be our 6th man, but I think he'd get get plenty of time with our starters and it would be fun to see him and Zach on the court at the same time.

Every time I watch Buddy, he goes off and finds new ways to impress me.

The step back 3's were just ridiculous. I don't see how his 3-ball doesn't translate to the NBA.

I'm not sure if anyone saw the graphic from the other night, but they showed his shot chart. He takes something like 90% of his shots from either behind the arc or in the paint. He's the James Harden of college ball in terms of shot selection.

Yep. No long 2's, that's why Milt/Sam won't like him. He's too smart. He's a got a decent left too. Looked like he was laxing on D, but with their lead, could have been conserving energy.

I'm not sure what to make of his D. He definitely takes some plays off on that side of the floor. What's also interesting is he sometimes takes plays off on offense. Some sets they run all he does is rest in the corner and they run 2-man action with him simply spacing the floor.

Right, however I did notice he was looking for his man to box out the times I saw him. But that shot is just awesome, quick pull up, nice drive and step back too.

Buddy will never likely be great on defense, but he can be decent. I've seen effort out of him on that side of the ball, staying in front of his man and closing out on shooters. He averages more than a steal and a half a block a game. He has the right physical tools (long wingspan and good lateral quickness) to succeed and I suspect since he carries the offense most nights, he takes some plays off there to stay fresh. Since he's a competitor and won't be carrying the offense in the NBA like he is in college, I see some upside to his defense.

Buddy is great, if we keep our current slot I'd be thrilled if we ended up with him. He'd be a much needed scoring threat off the bench.

Just a hypothetical but if Buddy were a freshman where would he be taken? I'd think he'd be the first pick.
